Restaurant Mi Rancho Alegre

This is one of my favorite restaurants in Hudson. Their food never disappoints their wings are phenomenal. They have really good drinks. It's a good place to meet with friends they have a bar and a really nice seating area for the restaurant. I love the atmosphere the way it's decorated.

The food was amazing. Very filling. The service was just as great. We live 4 hours away, and we will definitely be taking a trip there and stopping by to eat again. Highly recommend!

Great food great service. Good portion of food for the price. Authentic. Really great service and amazing bartender. I had some really great drinks. They are open late and again fast and prompt service we came back a week later and the food was still just as delicious as the first time. They also remembered us and made us feel so welcomed. I have tried all Mexican restaurants in Hudson and this by far was the best one. The other ones were either to expensive and the food was not as good. Highly suggest this restaurant.

The Service is great, very welcoming greeters, very nicely designed and good food. They give out large portions for a great price and everything on the menu is worth trying. Our waitress barista I think she said her name was was also very friendly. She wasn’t just a waitress, she involves herself in the costumers life. She connects with people in a way that’s much more familiar. I’d say it’s the best place to eat in Hudson that is still affordable too. Great job barista and everybody at this establishment. You won’t regret trying this place if you haven’t already. Go there and you will most definitely have a great family dinner. Much thanks.

Came in for dinner with my too soon to be wife... Sebastian our server was very kind and polite. We had the Red Snapper fish tacos and when we were just about to leave he surprised us with some dessert. All in all the food was superb the drinks are great and the atmosphere is amazing. I suggest anyone to come and try them. I also came in the second time because the first time we came in with such a great experience... Alberto our server was very polite and intuitive that he literally brought us two glasses of water when he greeted us at the table... I ordered a Long Island Iced Tea per usual and a chicken quesadilla which was delicious. I love this place.

Meeting two friends from Albany this was the midway point. It turned out great. Hudson has lots of good looking restaurants so it was the Google review that made us pick Restaurant Mi Rancho Alegre. It’s in a strip mall with Steples right next to it. It’s nothing special from the outside. Inside it has a nice Mexican Restaurant feel. The bar is a decent size but was mostly full while we were there. We took a hightop table in the bar area. Mostly there are regular tables which allow for different size groups. As soon as we sat down chips, salsa and a bean dip was put on our table. While many Mexican restaurants give chips and salsa, the bean dip was a nice extra. We had a drink while waiting for our friends to show up. I had the Skinny Margarita but with Casamigos Reposado tequila. My wife ordered a chilled Casamigos and a glass of bubbly water and limes to mix her own Ranch Water type of drink. When our friends arrived they ordered a margarita and a cosmos. I started with a margarita and switched to a Ranch Water. My wife and I both ordered the Spinach Enchilada which we both enjoyed. Our friends shared an order of vegetarian fajitas and a side order of shrimps. We also had a large Guacamole which came with more chips. The Guacamole was excellent. Everyone enjoyed the food and drinks. We ended up there for almost three hours. The service was as excellent as the food was. Looking at Google Maps I notice that the Empire State Trail runs right behind Mi Rancho. We have walked many parts of this trail and next time will talk from here before having dinner.

Love this place! Super festive and cute inside. The menu has many fun options. The jalapeño margarita is superb. Tip: if you pay in cash they give you a discount.
